On behalf of its members, I welcome you to the website of Shakespeare Lodge #750 of the Grand Lodge of the State of New York of Free and Accepted Masons. On our website you will find a great deal of information about Masonry in general and the history of our Lodge in specific.
Shakespeare Lodge was organized 137 years ago and is chartered to receive petitions for membership and perform the three degrees of Freemasonry. It has a history of producing leaders and for making good men, better men. In that spirit it is my hope that you will find on this site a glimpse of the great deeds that have been accomplished by the Brothers -past and present- in our noble fraternity and that what you see and read will motivate you to be a better man, son, father, husband, and community member.
Freemasonry accomplishes this by promoting a way of life that binds like-minded men in a worldwide brotherhood that transcends all religious, ethnic, cultural, social, and educational differences; by teaching the great principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth and by the outward expression of these principles through its fellowship, its compassion, and its concern - to find ways in which to serve God, family, country, neighbors and self.
